Accurate Instrument Repair utilizes the Mahr Federal 130b-16 and 130b-24 gage block comparators. These are the more accurate systems available and are considered the standard of the industry. Both systems have 0.1 micro inch resolution, 1.0 micro inch accuracy and 0.2 micro inch repeatability. These systems utilize Mahr Federals gage block software that incorporates many features necessary for the calibration of gage blocks, such as temperature compensation for dissimilar materials which provides you with a lower measurement uncertainty. All these features in combination offer you the most accurate gage block measurement and reporting of calibration data available.
