We have over 30 years experience in the calibration of precision cylindrical ring gages and are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.
We first began calibrating precision ring gages with the original Pratt & Whitney Ring and Disk comparators back in 1982. Now, we use state of the art Pratt & Whitney Labmaster Universals. This is a direct measuring system that is laser based and is designed to accomplish the same job as the comparator in less than half the time.
Using direct measurement eliminates unnecessary standards and much of the human contact error associated with comparison measurement (e.g. gage block wringing). With this system, we can also provide our customers with a lower measurement uncertainty. This combination offers you the most affordable price and accurate reporting of your calibration data.
Most dimensional lab personnel and quality inspectors use precision ring masters or ring gages routinely, but few actually know what is involved in the calibration process of their standards. Here at our Foothill Ranch facility in California, we consider ourselves the leaders in cylindrical ring gage calibration and experts in dimensional measurement.
